Huh?? // say it with a graphic tee

Hey Babes!

I hope you all are having a good Monday, considering that it’s, well, you know, Monday.

When I was little, I never understood why Garfield the cat was so relatable when he complained about Mondays. Ironically, as I get older, I find myself turning more and more into Garfield. My laziness often makes people scratch their head, I love pasta and coffee, and I despise Mondays.

If I wanted to wear a shirt quoting the famous comic strip cat, 2016 would be the perfect year because graphic statement tees are all the rage right now.

To be honest, graphic tees aren’t usually my thing, but there’s just something about a shirt with a few words on it that gives it so much sass. (which makes me feel sassy wearing it)

Out of all the ones I’ve seen so far, for some reason I’m drawn to  “vibing” and “kale”. I also noticed a lot of bridal statements going on, which is making me start to plan attire for a wedding that doesn’t even exist.

Since these tees are so basic, there’s several not so basic outfit combos out there, which makes them great when you’re going on a trip and need to pack lightly. Especially if you’re like me and tend to pack twenty outfits for a weekend because you need “options.”

I came up with five outfits for this “OKAY” tee from my closet alone, and I’m only imagining what I could come up with if I had a whole store’s worth of clothes to choose from.

I also feel that with these, you don’t even need to dress them up to look cute. You could pair it with some athletic shorts to go study and still look stylish, forever changing “bum days.”

So basically, let your t-shirt do some of the talking for you this year.

Let me know in the comments what your favorite graphic statement tee is and/or what statement you would want on a shirt, I’m curious!

dress well. eat well. live well.

xx,

Addie
