Shopping // Finds From Victoria’s Secret and PINK

Hey Babes,

A shopaholic like me is always looking for good deals. When I score something awesome, I’m in a great mood for the rest of the day, or longer.

Victoria’s Secret recently had their famous Semi-Annual Sale, and I still had a VS gift card from Christmas. Perfect timing.

I didn’t exactly go crazy this time, but I landed a few pieces on their website that I’m absolutely in love with.

Recently my boobs have grown a whole cup size, which is great for me, but unfortunately I only have two or three bras and bathing suit tops that actually fit.

A slightly unfit bra can be whatever, even though it’s uncomfortable, but an unfit bathing suit top is just unflattering for everyone. If it’s too big, you have to keep adjusting it so it doesn’t fall off, and if it’s too small everything is smushed and falling out. Plus, you’ll be self-conscious, and you should always feel good in what you’re wearing.

I’m usually really picky about things like bathing suits and dresses for events. I have to find the perfect one, and usually I know it when I see it. I fell in love with this strappy halter bikini top as soon as I saw it. It’s both edgy and sexy, the only downside is the awful tan lines.

I’ve had my eye on this top for a while, and I knew I was going to have to order it online anyway since none of my stores had it. When I saw it was 25% off, I didn’t hesitate to add it to my cart.

Not only is it cute, it’s really comfortable and supportive. I don’t know if you’ve ever had a bathing suit with no padding, but I have, and it’s just awkward.

Even though the Semi-Annual sale ended, you can still get VS swimwear up to 60% off. I also heard that Victoria’s Secret is discontinuing swim sales, so if you love VS swimsuits stock up while you can.

In one of my first posts I wrote all about how awesome graphic saying shirts are. I was originally browsing for yoga pants when I came across this ringer tee for 35% off, and I’m glad I did.

There were two designs and unfortunately my first pick was sold out. I’m still really happy with this one though, and since it’s summer, I’ll probably get more use out of it than I would yoga pants.

I wanted to wear this top with shorts, tube socks, and sneakers, but all of my tube socks are brighter colors and clashed with the burnt yellow. Either way, I love the way it looks with denim. I feel like I came straight out of The 70’s.

Ok so I didn’t exactly get this last one on sale, but I needed at least one more thing if I wanted to get free shipping, so I went to PINK’s Collegiate Collection.

Every time I go to the PINK store here in Tallahassee there’s only a couple of Florida State things and not in my size. This hoodie was a new arrival and I knew if I went back for it later it would probably be sold out. I have so much FSU spirit and in my eyes you can never have enough merch.

Shopping online is always risky because photographs can be deceiving and sizing varies. When I saw this online, it looked thicker, but the fact that it is so thin and lightweight makes me like it even more.

It’s also super comfy because it’s a little big on me, but not too big. It’s perfect for studying and situations where the room suddenly gets cold. I know for a fact that I will wear this a lot, I’m actually wearing it as I type this.

I’m really happy with these purchases and I’m even more happy that everything fits because returns are such a pain. Especially since I was shopping at the end of the sale and lot of styles, colors, and sizes were sold out.

Ironically, I feel like whenever I shop at Victoria’s Secret, I never buy underwear. I usually spend more time in the apparel and beauty sections. If I had to choose between PINK sweatpants and a bra, I’d go with the sweatpants for sure.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Let me know if you scored in any good sales recently.

dress well. eat well. live well.

xx,

Addie
