Neutrogena // face masks review

Hey Babes!

There’s nothing like a good face mask. A face mask with good ingredients can leave your face feeling rejuvenated and your skin looking great. Neutrogena, a well-known, and the number one dermatologist recommended, skincare brand, is launching a new mask collection with innovative technology from South Korea. Masks from the line include: a Radiance Boost Brightening 100% Hydrogel Mask, a Deep Clean Purifying Mask 100% Hydrogel Mask, a Hydro Boost Hydrating 100% Hydrogel Mask, a Hydro Boost Hydrating Overnight Gel Mask, and Deep Clean Purifying Wash-Off Clay Mask. I tried three out of five of these new masks from Neutrogena over the last week and the results were amazing.

On Day 1, I tried the Radiance Boost Brightening 100% Hydrogel Mask. It’s infused with Vitamin B3, and supposed to brighten the skin and boost its radiance. Unlike other sheet masks, this one is made from 100% hydrogel material that contours to the skin and seals in the formula for optimal absorption.

After washing my face, I opened up the package, and put the mask on my face. Taking it out of the package was kind of confusing, I couldn’t tell which was the back and which was the front, and it almost ripped apart before I even put it on. But once I finally got it on, I was happy. It felt really cool on my skin, which was a nice relaxing feeling, perfect for a night of pampering, I found that the longer it’s left on, the better it stays on, it gets less slimy as the product transfers to the skin. The thing I like about this product is that I could feel the nutrients absorbing into my skin, it’s really cool! After 30 minutes, I took it off and my skin really did look glow-y! Even my mom noticed a difference. I would use this product again in a heartbeat.

On Day 2, I tried the Deep Clean  Purifying 100% Hydrogel Mask. I was excited to try this one because it is made with seaweed extract and I thought that was really interesting. It also is non-comedogenic, meaning it doesn’t clog pores, and is supposed to be gentle on the skin. This mask seems like a good fit for my skin because my skin is sensitive and I have big pores that can get clogged easily.

This mask was similar to the first one I tried. Taking it out of the package was a little confusing, but once I was past that, I had a great experience. The gel felt cool on my skin, and the longer I left it on the better it stayed on. This mask made me want to sit back and relax with a glass of wine. And again, I could feel the nutrients transferring to my skin which was a really cool feeling. When I took it off, I really noticed a difference in the brightness of my skin. If I got a chance to, I would definitely try this product again.

On Day 3, I tried the Deep Clean Purifying Wash-Off Clay Mask. This one is a little different from the other two, as it is made from mineral clay instead of hydrogel, but it is still supposed to leave the skin purified and healthy looking. Of the three, I found this mask the easiest to put on. The texture of the clay was smooth and it glided onto my skin easily. It felt like putty in my hands and was fun to touch.

Like a lot of clay masks, it hardens as time goes by, so by the time 30 minutes past the mask was pretty hardened and ready to come off. Washing it off was easy, it doesn’t stick to the skin and leave little pieces that I had to scrub off like some other clay masks I’ve tried. Also, with this mask, I think I noticed the biggest before and after difference in my skin. My skin looked radiant and new, and I was very impressed.

Overall, I had a lot of fun trying out these new Neutrogena masks. They were all gentle on my skin, none of them felt heavy or bulky, and each mask left my skin glowing and feeling refreshed. I would definitely try these masks again, and would recommend them to anyone in need of a good face mask!

I would like to thank Neutrogena for sponsoring this post!
