I’m sad to see summer go, but excited for fall to come. Fall means hay rides, pumpkin patches, scary movies, and many people’s favorite holiday: Halloween. However, while stores may have all of their fall inventory out on display, the weather doesn’t quite call for heavy layers yet, at least in Florida. That’s why in this post I’m giving you three fall outfits that are cozy yet light enough to bear the sun.
A Sweater With Shorts
Sweaters are a staple for fall. One of the reasons I can’t wait for the weather to get cooler is so that I can wear all of my comfy sweaters. If the weather is cool, but not freezing, pairing a sweater with shorts is a good way to give off fall vibes without being drenched in sweat. I love this sweater from Francesca’s, it’s really long, comfy, and it goes great with these white BDG shorts.
Over the Knee Boots and a Button Down Skirt
During the cooler months, you see boots everywhere. Recently, over the knee boots became a major trend, and when you pair them with a button down skirt, it makes a great summer-to-fall look. These brown suede over the knee boots from Lizard Thicket go perfectly with this pink suede button down skirt from Altar’d State, the embroidery on the boots match the color of the skirt perfectly.
Cardigan and Mom Shorts
Anyone who knows me knows I love a good pair of mom shorts. Pairing them with a cardigan is the perfect combination for an “almost fall” look. My favorite pair of mom shorts from PacSun look great with this printed cardigan from a vintage boutique called Wonsaponatime, and I added a beanie for an extra fall feel.
I hope this gives some of you Babes some fall outfit inspo, and as always let me know your feedback, comments, and/or suggestions in the comments section. Take care!
