Hey Babes!
Fall fashion is the best. From knitted beanies, to cozy sweaters, to fun booties, I just can’t get enough! This fall, there’s one piece that seems to be in everyone’s closet: over the knee boots. Over the knee boots are super cute, and they’re bound to keep you warm, but how do you wear them exactly? In this post, I’m going to give you two ways to style your over the knee boots so this fall you will feel not only cozy, but fashionable as well.
Jeans + A Sweater
This first look is pretty basic, but it will make your over the knee boots POP. All you need are jeans and a sweater. I chose some simple blue jeans from Belk, and a gray sweater with floral detailing from JCPenney. They go great with my brown suede OTK boots from Lizard Thicket.
Instead of jeans, you could also wear leggings. I have a green pair that would go great with this outfit. The main point is, that you don’t want to add to much to your outfit so that your boots are the center of attention. Also, this particular combination is great for a cooler day.
Button Down Skirt + A Cardigan
The second way to style over the knee boots is a little more complex, but it is still super cute. If you pair your over the knee boots with a button down skirt, top, and cardigan, you’ll be all set for the fall weather! My same brown suede OTK boots from above look great with this pink velvet cardigan from Lizard Thicket, denim button down skirt from T.J. Maxx, and white lace up body suit. I love the way the pinks complement each other.
This look is perfect for going out with friends, tailgating, going to the mall, and much more! Another way to wear over the knee boots is to wear them with tights and a dress. If you don’t have a pair of over the knee boots yet, you can check out some of the options on the shoppable graphic below, they’re a must-have this season!
