Happy Easter Babes!
I was scheduled to work today, but I had the cutest outfit picked out that I’m going to share with you Babes. The best part about it is, that it has multiple parts to it, so you can style it differently the next time you want to wear it.
My ensemble consists of this off the shoulder button down shift dress and pastel striped striped cardigan, both from Charming Charlie, brown suede booties from Target, and a Steve Madden straw fedora from T.J. Maxx.
The pastel pink and blue on the cardigan make this outfit perfect for Easter Sunday, and the stripes lengthen your body. When you put it over the off the shoulder dress, it covers the skin, adding a more modest touch. But, the buttons still peek out, so you can see a hint of the dress.
This dress is nice because it’s comfortable, and it is lined with fabric underneath, so you don’t have to wear a slip under it, or be conscious about what color bra you’re wearing. I was wearing a black half bra and you couldn’t even tell. Whoo Hoo!
Even though this cardigan ties in the front, it’s best to wear something under it because even if you tie it, its still pretty open above and below the tie. If you don’t wear a dress, a white cami, or a top with a bow front like this one, would look great. For the bottom, you could go with jean shorts or a denim, white, or pink skirt.
For shoes, I was originally going to wear pointed toe white leather boots, similar to these, but I ended up going with the brown booties instead. I wasn’t sure how they would look at first, but I actually really liked it. The colors complement each other nicely.
Even though I tied mine, you could always leave it open to show off the rest of your look. By leaving it open, you see the entire dress, and it gives a more carefree vibe.
In my opinion, the hat brings everything together, but you don’t have to go with a hat. You could wear your hair in a bun with a headband and you’d still look really cute.
What do you think of this look? Let me know in the comments!
For those Babes that celebrated Easter today, I hope it was a happy one. TTYL!
