Trends // micro bags

Hey Babes!

When you’re a girl, carrying your belongings in a purse is essential. You need your phone, wallet, makeup, and whatever else to get you through your day. I have a lot of different purses that I use depending on my outfit, but, my main bag Is a big Patricia Nash tote, and it gets cluttered SUPER easily. Even though it has a lot of pockets, I always find myself digging around for the things I need. That’s part of the reason I’m loving this new micro-bag trend.

Micro-bags are exactly what they sound like: tiny purses. They’re small enough for holding your essentials, and not big enough for a ton of extra stuff you don’t need so your purse gets cluttered. There’s a ton of styles and variations out there, so there’s something for everyone.

I love this white boho-chic micro bag from the new Charming Charlie Spice Market Collection. It’s small, a beautiful color, and even has a brown tassel attached to it. This specific micro bag has a cross-body strap included, so if you get tierd of holding it in your hand, you can use the strap.

This bag goes with a lot of my outfits, but I love it with this white ribbed button up crop top from Forema (similar here) and mom shorts from PacSun. I also added a white toothlike necklace and beaded wrap bracelet from Charming Charlie to give it a little something extra.

Another micro-bag I really like is this bright blue one from Charming Charlie. It’s so unique! It also comes in a bright yellow, but I’m really drawn to the blue one.

When picking out a micro-bag, try to imagine what you’d wear it with. There’s a lot of cute, different ones out there, like this clear green one or this beaded shell one, but they would only look good with certain colors or outfits.

Another great thing about micro-bags is that they’re perfect for day-to-night. You can use it for all your errands during the day, and then also use it that same night for when you go out with your girls. For day-to-night outfit inspo, check my posts here and here.
