I’m sooooooooooo excited because today, my parents and I are took a road trip to Columbus, Ohio to visit my sister and see The Who in concert. We’re also bringing my dog Frank along, and I know once he got in the car, he was just as excited as me.
I’ve done a few posts on what to wear on a road trip, but this time, I’m going to share my car-ride outfit, because when you’re going on a long drive, your car outfit is just as important as your airport outfit, if you know what I mean.
Right before Charming Charlie shut down for good, I was able to purchase this black and orange tiger print jumpsuit for just a PENNY. This jumpsuit is gorgeous. The dark orange and black go perfectly together, and it doesn’t look too much like Halloween. There’s also something luxurious feeling about the pattern, and it’s definitely different than the snakeskin and leopard prints that you’re used to seeing.
I decided to pair it with my black fringe booties from Target and my favorite felt hat from Altar’d State. The hat gives this look a more boho vibe, and the dark colors of this look make it great for fall. Hopefully I won’t be having to use the bathroom too much, because the issue with jumpsuits is that you have to take the entire thing off in order to go. However, this particular jumpsuit is loose and comfy so it shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
Speaking of loose and comfy, that’s what makes this outfit a perfect road trip outfit. It’s not itchy, and I don’t have to worry about anything riding up or being too tight.
Well, I’m off to explore Ohio! Let me know what you think of this outfit in the comments below.
