Accessorize // six fashionable apple watch bands

Hey Babes!

It’s 2020, and wearable technology is quickly becoming the new thing. I’m probably not alone when I say that I thought the Apple Watch was a ridiculously stupid concept when it first came out. Years later though, we now have 5 versions of the Apple Watch, as well as Samsung and Michael Kors smartwatches. And look at me now, sporting my Apple Watch like I came out of the womb with it.

As someone who’s style is ever-changing, the thing I like most about the Apple Watch is that you can change out the band, and there’s SO many options too. Here is a list of my top six favorite Apple Watch bands that will make you look stylish at any function.

1. Leopard Print – Casetify – $52

This band is extremely trendy right now, considering the fact that leopard print is everywhere right now. At $52, it’s a little pricier than some other watch bands, however, it got great reviews, so if you are someone that is so-in-love with leopard print, splurging a little might be worth it for this one. The seller, Casetify, also has a good selection of other watch bands such as this one and this one, as well as things such as AirPods cases and laptop cases. You can even filter by watch size, and speaking of, the leopard one comes in either 38mm/40mm or 42mm/44mm watch sizes and you can choose gold, gray, black, or rose gold for the connector/buckle color.

2. Snakeskin – Joy Merryman Store – $36

Another animal print that’s really in right now is snakeskin, so if leopard print isn’t quite your cup of tea, maybe snakeskin will be. At $36, it’s $16 dollars cheaper than the leopard one, but still looks really nice. You have the option of choosing a 38mm/ 40mm or  42mm/44mm sizes, as well as a black, silver, rose gold, or gold buckle color.

3. Orange Scarf – Wristpop – $45

This next watch “band” is a really unique idea, but I’m not sure it would be good for everyday wear. Instead of a link, leather, or silicone band, it’s a scarf. Like I just mentioned, I think this idea is really creative and super cute, but it might not be practical for every day wear. I feel like a piece of fabric like a scarf will come undone more easily than a band that fastens shut. Also, if you were to get caught in the rain, the fabric might feel heavy on your wrist much like soaked clothes would feel heavy on your body. With that being said, it’d be a great thing to wear once in a while with certain outfits, such as a white crop and light wash denim jean shorts. The scarf comes in 38mm/40mm and 42mm/44mm watch sizes and you can choose your connector color to match (or mismatch) the color of your watch.

4. Red Leather – Monowear – $24.99

Of course you can always go with a classic leather band as well. You can’t go wrong with something simple yet stylish, and the best thing is that something like this goes with most outfits. As far as leather bands go, I personally like this cherry colored one from Monowear. It looks classy and can go with many, many, looks. Like with almost all the watches on this list, you can choose the watch color you have and it comes in both the 38mm/40mm and 42mm/44mm sizes.

5. Polka Dotted Kate Spade – Macy’s – $78

I was horrified when I found out that designer Kate Spade had commented suicide back in 2018. Luckily, her legacy lives on and you can still purchase her handbags, wallets, and accessories, including this polka dotted Apple Watch band from Macy’s. If you didn’t know, polka dots are going to be a major trend in 2020, I mean, I’m already seeing them everywhere. So why not get ahead of the game and sport this Apple Watch band? The only downfall with this band, besides the price, is that it is only available in the 38mm/40mm watch size.

6. Milanese Loop – Best Buy – $99

So this last one is by far the most expensive, but in my opinion, it’s from one of the more legit places to buy Apple Watch accessories from: Best Buy. Also in my opinion, something like this is similar to the leather band in the aspect that it is more neutral and goes with almost everything. I like the look of this band because I tend to be drawn to the classic link watches, which is why when the Michael Kors Sophie Smartwatch came out I had to have that one, but I found that as a loyal iPhone user, the features on the Michael Kors watch were limited. This band gives a similar feel to that one, but, obviously, with the features of an apple watch. This band comes in gold (pictured), silver, or black, and is available for 38mm/40mm and 42mm/44mm watch sizes.

Which of these bands on this list is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
