V-Day // two casual garnet looks + valentine’s day outfit inspo

Hey Babes!

Valentine’s Day is only eight days away, and if you have no idea what you’re going to wear, you’re in luck, because this post is full of outfit inspiration for whatever plans you may have!

First off, I love the color red, it goes great with my blonde hair, and since I went to FSU, I own a lot of garnet colored garments, which I will be showcasing today.

I don’t own anything with hearts on it, but I did manage to put together a few cute looks out of garnet pieces. (For heart themed pieces, check the bottom of this post!) These outfits aren’t super festive or anything, but they might give you some ideas on how to style something red, or in my case, garnet.

First off, This haltered turtle neck crop from Reef Boutique (similar here) is so cute, and great for any occasion, whether it be going to the club with your girls or going on a cute lunch date. I paired it with some slight ripped high-rise jeans from Aeropostale (similar pair here for only $18!) and perforated heels from Charlotte Russe, who is back in business by the way (similar here). The sweater-like material of this top is awesome for when there’s a cool breeze, but if it is a little chilly, you might want to throw a cute bomber jacket or cardigan over it, and when you’re not using it, you can tie it around your waist. I absolutely love how this top is an open-back because it’s sexy and shows off my upper back tattoo nicely.

Similarly, this sweater dress from Francesca’s (similar here) is the same material and color as the halter, but is better for a cooler day and/or a slightly fancier occasion. The lace-up details on the shoulders add a nice touch as well. To dress it up, I paired it with some black over the knee boots from Belk (similar here) and my signature black hat from Altar’d State.

Like I mentioned earlier, my wardrobe isn’t filled with super festive pieces, like ones with hearts on them, but I did manage to put together a few cute looks that are heart themed below, as well as link some individual products to items I thought were adorable.
